The role of manager has continually expanded as program regulations and workforce qualifications have changed and active treatment requirements have intensified. Many feel it is becoming impossible to keep their “heads above water.” This course will focus on strategies to help participants “stay afloat” and deal with expanding demands and new responsibilities. It will highlight the importance of the manager’s role, how to handle changes and address expanding pressures. The program is highly practical in nature and will share coping methodologies through scenario exercises featuring typical situations managers face in community based supports.
