NYSACRA
VOTE '04 ALERT
4
ONLY 1 WEEK LEFT TO REGISTER TO VOTE!
OCT. 8TH DEADLINE
Please make sure that you are registered to vote
and check to be sure that all your friends and family members are registered
before October 8, 2004, that’s next Friday.
You can also use the NYSACRA Voter Registration Guide to assist your agency in
running a Voter Registration Drive. If you have recently registered, but not
received your confirmation polling card in the mail, contact your Board of
Elections (BOE) immediately. While it is possible that it is still being
processed, it should take no more than one week to get it back. If you
registered within the last week, or are still unsure whether you are registered
after you call your BOE, register again. The BOE will verify your
registration and only allow you to register once, so don’t worry about that,
that’s their job. You’re better safe than sorry on November 2nd.
You can call your County BOE and ask them to check your name or a list of
names. Once you have accomplished this,
please remember to go out and vote
on November 2nd!
REMINDER: You MUST use the new 2004 form. It
MUST have Box #9 for ID Number. If not, throw out the old forms and get new
ones or use the link below.
