- ANOTHER MMIS BILLING PROBLEM
- LEGISLATIVE GAZETTE SPECIAL REPORT
Another MMIS Billing Problem
The Department of Health has advised OMRDD that a billing system problem
occurred on the evening of January 11, 2005. As a result, all HIPAA compliant
Medicaid claims received after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and those received on
Wednesday morning January 12, 2005 were not processed in the weekly claims
cycle. The claims were rolled over into the next billing cycle.
As a result of this problem, claims that normally would have had a paid date
of January 17, 2005 will now have a paid date of January 24, 2005.
Consequently, the release date of the MMIS checks will also change from
February 2, 2005 to February 9, 2005.
LEGISLATIVE GAZETTE SPECIAL REPORT
It’s that
time of the year again, when the Legislature returns to Albany and NYSACRA
prepares its Legislative Gazette Special Report. The Special Report has been
highly successful each year in getting our message out and reaching a diverse
population. NYSACRA thanks you for your past support and we ask that you
continue your support. Please send in your Agency Ads to the Legislative
Gazette thanking the Legislators & the Governor for their ongoing support
for our programs, the Direct Support Professionals and the individuals we serve;
the continuation of the NYS CARES & NYS CARES II funding for 2005-06 as well as
NYS OPTS. NYSACRA will be highlighting our workforce initiatives and certain
workers as well as our health insurance survey, “Keeping Workers Covered”, and
our local economic values study to highlight the many benefits our agencies
provide to the community and much more. A fee schedule will be sent to you
shortly from the Legislative Gazette.
Please participate in the Direct Support Professional Profile Campaign by
submitting Profiles to NYSACRA, and bringing those people to Legislative Day on
March 1, 2005.
