Dear NYSACRA Members:
Plans for the 2010 NYSACRA Legislative Day are being finalized.
Our annual event, to be held on Tuesday, January 26th in Meeting Room #6 of the Empire State Plaza, will begin with registration at 7:15 a.m. and Breakfast with State Legislators will commence at 7:30 a.m. The program for the morning includes several guest speakers including State Legislators and appointments with your representatives have been scheduled.
We are pleased to provide you (see below) with additional details for the 2010 NYSACRA Legislative Day including the list of attendees, Directions to the Empire State Plaza and Parking Options and draft NYSACRA Talking Points for your meetings with State Legislators.
The list of agencies to participate in 2010 NYSACRA Legislative Day (if you plan to participate and your agency's name is not included on this list, please contact the NYSACRA Office ASAP to register)

Talking Points to assist you and your team with meeting preparation have been crafted. Copies of the Talking Points will also be available in your packet when you arrive at the Legislative Event.
Full packets including informational materials and the schedule of appointments with State Legislators will be available on Legislative Day.
We look forward to seeing you at the Empire State Plaza on Tuesday, January 26th.

SPECIAL NOTE: We understand that Tuesday, January 26th will be an extremely busy day at the Empire State Plaza, Legislative Office Building and State Capitol. Our friends in the mental health field will host a major rally on January 26th and will converge on Albany by the busloads; therefore, we suggest that you leave ample lead time to enter the Empire State Plaza, park and join us in Meeting Room #6. |
