The NYSACRA Learning Institute: Innovation in Individualized Supports was initiated in 2007 with funding support from NYS Developmental Disabilities Planning Council, NYS Office of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities, and the Self Advocacy Association of New York State.  Participating providers joined together with faculty to learn about organizational change, to understand what makes supports individualized, to learn how to plan with people about lives they want, and then discover what it takes to implement the plans.
