Read this Online: IMPORTANT SECURITY & PARKING INFORMATION, AGENDA & TALKING POINTS Please note the security procedures for parking and for entering the Legislative Office Building and Capitol as follows. Parking: Every person in the vehicle will need a photo ID. Also, your vehicle may be subject to search by NYS Police. Parking is $10/vehicle, pay on entry. (The Plaza parking accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex & Cash) To avoid waiting for parking, come early. The doors to Meeting Room 6 will open at 7 a.m. and registration will begin at 7:15 a.m. All oversized vehicles (in excess of 6’ 6” high) will be accommodated on an as needed basis for up to 27 vehicles in the P-1 North Garage. (1st Garage Entrance-See Map) Finding Meeting Room 6: Once you park in the V-Lot (formerly P3-North), find an elevator and take it from the P-3 Level (V-Lot) to the Concourse Level (Level C). NYSACRA signs will be at every elevator pointing to Meeting Room 6. Security: Every person will again need photo ID to enter the Capitol or Legislative Office Building for your appointments. You will be passing through a metal detector and your belongings can be searched. We highly recommend that you leave all items in our Meeting Room 6, where you have breakfast, since we will have someone watching it all day until 3:00 p.m. Please have everyone bring ID; we wouldn’t want you to come all the way to Albany only to be turned away at the door. (PDF of Parking Map Here) By Taxi: Your destination is the "Empire State Plaza Bus Circle", security check & ID still applies. Packet & Agenda: You will have all handouts in your packets when you arrive on Tuesday, January 27th. If you determine that you are unable to attend, please contact your Legislators or NYSACRA so we can notify them to cancel your appointments.
